My name is Kristy J McMeen Meader born and raised in Lincoln, Nebraska. I am a single mom of two, Trevor (15) Abby (11). I am also a Registered Nurse and Jazzercise Instructor! I started Flutterwear after lots and lots of journaling through a period of time in my life that was challenging and difficult.

The sayings that I have on my apparel are just the beginning of some of the words that would help me get through whatever it was that I was battling. Living one day at a time, (sometimes one hour) it helps to be empowered by simple words that can give you the hope that you need. It is my vision and belief to inspire many girls of all ages to wear Flutterwear and be proud of who you are and what you want out of life.

Everyone’s journey is different, there may be MANY peaks, valleys, mountains and long roads to get through, up and down, but you WILL make it through each one and be that much stronger going through all of it. Life is never going to be easy, but it CAN be better by how you perceive it and what you choose to do with whatever comes your way.
